Vista Late because of it being too complicated?


So says one guy who works for Microsoft. He originally had it all posted here

He then removed most of his posting because he felt people were using it to bash his employer.

Seems to me like he's just stating the obvious. Wouldn't we just assume it's complicated and that such a huge undertaking might be the cause of a delay?

I admit, it does sound rather obvious. It's delayed because of tweaking which takes a long time because of the complexity of it? I don't know. almost sounds like a good thing.

Yeah I agree with the sentiment that it should be more complex. I think they said it had 50 million lines of code compared to 40 million for xp. That is 10 million more, but still considering the time between the two projects does not seem like that much more.
