| Hi. i'm new to this board, but i was hoping to find some answers from some of you experts out there. A friend of mine who's a programer was mentioning something about Vista damaging audio on purpose when is shared out to the net. Something to do with copyright infringement that Microsoft has taken a more proactive approach. Meaning that even if you want to share or download music (which you already own a CD of course :P) your audio will sound like crap once its shared out to the world. Anyone have any info on that?? Thanks. |

| If you own the media, I don't suppose that Microsoft can restrict it's use, but I could be wrong. However, you can use Windows Media Rights Manager to control the distribution of your files when using Windows Media Player. For example, you can encrypt your files, restrict playback, require a minimum security level for all players and portable devices, etc. It gives you the command to decide who can or can't use the media.
