Vista vs. MCE

Well, not really versus... I've just been thinking about buying a media center PC with XP MCE lately, and I'm curious as to how it integrates into the Vista world.

I'm kind of afraid to buy it right now because I fear it will be deprecated soon in favor of Vista MCE or some such thing.

Is anyone here running XP MCE? I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Also, is Vista x64 or x32?

I've read that Vista works with the current version of MCE (though I don't know that from first hand experience). I've also read that Microsoft has decided to package Media Center with the Home Premium and Ultimate editions of Windows Vista which means MCE will no longer be a standalone Windows product.

Vista will come in both x32 and x64
