| Interesting thread, because I use Vista, XP, Solaris and the Linux distro Ubuntu. Vista XP and Solaris on my main computer, and Ubuntu and Windows 98 on my backup. The two are double networked cable and wireless. On my main computer I like Vista, which is a beta, but only use it occasionally as I won't upgrade until SP1 is out. XP is still my workhorse simply because every thing works and no driver problems. So far Solaris hasn't impressed me, although it is stable and secure I prefer a little broader selection of software and utilities. On the back up I have Ubuntu with better eye candy than vista, in fact this clip convinced me to install Ubuntu. The Windows 98 simply runs my Casio keyboard, does a super job and has plenty of power for the MIDI interface. |
