Walmart

Lesson Learned.

You get what you pay for.

Where does Walmart get this stuff - crap? Who is the buyer for Walmart that gets this crap to sell in Walmart stores.

I think I am getting Carple Tunnel Syndrome.

Item: IConcepts Deluxe Wireless Desktop Duo. Price $17.88. A wireless keyboard and wireless mouse.

The good news. It works with Vista.

The bad news. It stinks.

One has to press down too hard on the keyboard for keys to work. The mouse makes my wrist hurt.

Why I ever go to Walmart is beyond me.

Does Walmart take things back readily/no-questions asked, and for a pretty extended period, like Fry's, Best Buy, and Target? I shop at these places for some electronics and recommend their return policies highly.

Well in Asda (owned by Wall-Mart) they let you ruturn the product if your not 100% pleased with it. So surly the policy will be the same no?

return policies on electronics vary so much. im not sure exactly what wal-mart's policy is concerning electronic items, but i think they have a limited number of days to return most electronics, especially stuff like graphics cards that have been opened or dvd's. not sure where keyboards would fit into that. but if you're dissatisfied, you should try to get it back to the store as quickly as possible. I tend to agree with you Znod, Target and Best Buy have pretty good customer service when it comes to returns so I stick with them. We don't have a Fry's so I don't know about them.

ahh, upon checking wal-mart's website, I found this:
ELECTRONICS

* Computer hardware: Must be returned with any included software within 15 days of receipt.
* Computer components and computer accessories: Must be returned within 45 days of receipt.
* Computer software: Must be returned unopened.
* Camcorders and digital cameras: Must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
* GPS Units, Digital Music Players, and Portable Video Players: May be returned for refund or exchange with receipt WITHIN 15 DAYS.

WalMart is very good in SW Kansas for alowing RETURNS..Yes, you need the SALES TICKET..(many a good con artist) have tried... I even return to a different STORE than purchased from... (SALE TICKET in hand).
Many times I also use my computer and google and read reviews on items which I am thinking about buying....

PS: If you do not like WalMart they why did you buy from them...???

Walmart by me as long as you have a receipt and it is not over the 90 days they will take the item back no question asked other then does it work still end of discussion. I know of some people who just buy Walmart for a specific item they use and they carry all the time and even if it breaks after the 90 days they go and buy the same item and return the one that broken and get the refund and end up with a new item.

you don't even need the receipt in the UK. they just scan the barcode on the box and then it comes on the screen when and were it was brought. All though i have found thats not the case if you use the self service computers so when buying electrics i always go to a standard checkout.
