| There are various ways to do that: The first method is to purchase a wireless printer adapter. The adapter connects to the network and allows any computer on the network to print from it. The other method is to share your printer; the only disadvantage is that the PC the printer is connected to must be turned on for others users to use the printer. Here’s how to set it up: Click Start Button > Type Network and Sharing in the Search Box and hit Enter > Click the arrow button next to Printer sharing > Click Turn on printer sharing, then click Apply > Next click the arrow button next to Password protected sharing > Turned off password-protected sharing Now, add the printer to the other(s) computer: First, get the name of the PC where the printer is connected to > Then go to your XP computer > Control Panel and Add the printer

| When I go to add the printer on the XP machine it brings up the 'Add Printer Wizard'; however, it tells me to choose a printer from the list, but in the 'Shared Printers' box provided it shows only 'Microsoft Windows Network" followed by "MSHOME'. It doesn't show a specific printer. What would you suggest I do to make that happen? |

| MSHOME is XP default network. In Vista, the default network is WORKGROUP. Try changing your XP network to WORKGROUP. I named my own network, instead of using the OS default. It makes it more personal.

| I'm sure to start with both computer have to be under the same "Name" MSHOME or what ever.Reference: The only thing that I know is left out is that when you do the discovery on the Vista machine in your network (in my case, a wireless network) the network itself (on the Vista machine) has to be set to "private" and not "public". Once I made that final change I was able to map the network sucessfully from my Vista notebook. (My wireless network is mixed, XP and Vista.) http://www.computerworld.com/action/...icleId=9019179

| Well guys, it took me a while, but I finally got it. I had to change the name from MSHOME to NETWORK on both computers and for the printer name I had to add the computer's name to the front, but it's working. Thanks for all the help guys. I really do appreciate it. |
