Sometimes I like to go through the Windows Directories in my pc for some strange reason, I looked through the Media folder, where all but wmapro.wav and ac3.wav where playable. What are these files for?

WMAPro stands for Microsoft Windows Media Audio Professional. "With AC3Tools Pro, you can remaster AC3s, translate and recompose sound-tracks to DivX/XViD movies, compose several WAV PCM-files into 5.1 AC3-file." I got this info from: http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/M...Tools_Pro.html.

Somehow you downloaded and installed the software, as far as I can tell.

Felix is correct i searched my system and couldn't find these files. You must have downloaded them somewhere along the lines.

So these files are part of a program that I may have installed along the lines somewhere? Strange thing is they are wav audio files. The only media converter program I know I have on my PC is Nero.

Could you run Belarc Advisor and post the file. as doc or txt file.. and please remove all reference to KEYS and Serial Numbers...
Then we can check to see what added the files...

One question first... is your Vista an Upgrade via XP or a Clean install?
Are you using any of the following?
• High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI)
• Sony/Philips Digital Interface (S/PDIF)
Is your Vista x86 or x64?
