| wow, you are at the minimum of what Vista needs to run. yes, increase your ram to 1GB, then change the video card to at least 128mb. or install Vista Basic... requirements for BASIC Vista: Quote:

| 1. The one thing that I can see you can do is upgrade your RAM. Though Vista minimum requirements is 512MB, it's not enough. Ram does makes a huge difference. 2. Run Diskcleanup and Defrag utilities often; you can do that when the system is idle. 3. Change your Visual Effect to Best Performance. Right click Computer > Properties > Advanced tab > Under Performance select Settings > Select Adjust for best performance > Apply > OK to exit 4. Change Page file size to at least three times the amount of your RAM or more. Right click Computer > Properties > Advanced tab > Under Performance select Settings > Advanced tab > Under Virtual Memory click Change > De-select Automatically manage paging file size for this drive > click Custom Size > Enter the amount you want to allocate to both Initial Size and Maximum size (Note: Enter same amount for both) > click Set and OK (You may have to restart your PC) Sorry Snnuffy, I didn't notice your reply Last edited by felix8406 : 03-08-2007 at 12:55 AM. |

| Good, but just like I and Snuffy mentioned, upgrading your RAM will make a huge difference. One more thing, if you do update your RAM, change your Visual setting to what it was before or Let Windows choose what's best for my computer. You'll get better graphics. |
