There is a snipping tool in vista for taking Screen shots.......

The only thing is you can't use the snipping tool when you are logged out, which is why the only thing I could think of taking the shot was through a camera.

No but do get some backgrounds with the program to try out straight away, I just googled some vista backgrounds and found it...just seemed more Vista-ery.
