| Hi all i just finished setting up my desktop pc..now my desktop pc will have windows xp sp2 home..and my laptop has vista ultimate.,..is there a way to make these 2 pcs see each other on a network and comuacate with each other...

| Piece of cake. See the second post and those that follow on the second thread linked here: http://www.vistababble.com/forums/ot....html#post9556. Getting XP set up is easier that Vista. But, just say so if you need XP help.

| I have a similar issue. My network is an XP laptop and a Vista desktop, both of them are wireless. I haven't been able to get them to even share the printer (connected to the Vista PC) let alone anything else. I will work through the information that you all have provided and hopefully I will be able to figure it out. (Also, both of our ITunes are able to see each other, so there is a connection of some sort. We just can't share files or printer.) |
