That is correct, internet explorer is fine it is windows explorer.

It just takes me so much longer finding dir than it did before. Does anybody sell an add on that will make it look and feel like the old days..

Lol, there is a mod that makes XP's address bar like Vista's! I don't know anybody who prefers the old one (well... except you ). I will have a look around tonight but I wouldn't hold your breath. You may just have to get used to it... it IS alot better

If you want to be able to manually enter addresses you can by right clicking the address and selecting 'edit address'.
