Smile Beware of the bios bug

Hi everybody:
Is been long since i haven't wrote anything in the forum..
I recently bought a motherboard MSI MS-7267v2.2 and also bought an OEM Vista Ultimate to install in my new MB. and guess what when i have everything ready to go and started to Install Vista: The Evil BSOD appear telling me no way Jose. talk to MS tech's and told me a hardware problem with the LAN Interface. OK. I disable everything exept keyboard, SATA, IDE, Mem, and video board.

Still the same problem then talked to the MFG and advise me and gave me a bios upgrade to install. I Installed the bios V3.3 and problem fixed.
Now im in the process of setting it up the way I like It....

SOO BEWARE PEOPLE OF THE BIOS BUG.

felix8406 will become famous soon enough

That's good to know. When it comes to BIOS and drivers, it's always a good practice, and sometimes as Elguada attested, a must to get the latest updates. Not just because your PC can run faster, but it can also prevent "bugs" and issues.

BIOS updates have become much easier and less riskier to run and install and can provide fixes reported by users or found by the manufacture after the motherboard was released. Additionally, manufactures provide BIOS updates to make sure their product can run Vista.

Good post ElGuada.
