Hi Friends:

I can't find the thread now, but earlier we sort of debated whether Vista could be booted from a flash drive. Maybe not then, but here is the answer now: http://kurtsh.spaces.live.com/blog/c...38D!1665.entry. The poster is even using my flash drive. And, the result is installing Vista from a flash drive much more quickly than from a DVD.
