Can't install RC1 with 2 HDD

Hey there,
I've tried to install RC1 build 5600 but it always froze at the very beginning, showing me only that blue-green wallpaper and that's it. I got 2 HDD, one PATA (XP installed on it) and one SATA. I've tried everything but no luck. Only after I've unplugged the PATA drive, the installation worked as it should have, allowing me to install Vista (but I chose not to) on the SATA drive.

Can someone help? I need both HDD plugged in.

Hello Guy's. I'm back!!!

Some people have freeze issues where the install can just show the wallpaper for up to 5 mins and then for some unknown reasons then installs fine (with smaller freezes between the other sections). Try allowing it more time? If that doesn't work, then re-burn or grab a new iso?

Get rid of build 5600!! (It's buggy anyway) Get build 5728 and Crabby's right, there can be some long blank screen times in the install.

I have used 5840 version and NO PROBLEMS... YOU HAVE TO manually add the SCSI drivers... which are not present if you need... Many Drivers are no present..and you need to know where your DRIVERS are located and install prior to full install ( it does ask you to LOAD DRIVERS )
