I have Windows XP Home on my computer once again, but only because my online classes are not comatible with Vista and the college has no plans on converting. So I want to add Vista - Business edition to my puter as a dual boot. Are their any 'easy' ways to do this?

Install Vista from within XP and put it on a single drive by itself if possible and after the install is complete at boot up you will have a choice to boot into Vista or XP and I believe by default Vista is set as the main boot. Do a google search and you will see lots of info on this issue

It's very easy. Partition your drive and install Vista on the new partition. Or install Vista on a second drive.

Can I do the reverse and partition XP on my Vista lap-top?

It is doable, but can result in difficulties. If you want to go this route, then boot into XP after the install, download, install, and start Vista Boot Pro. Then, select "Reinstall the Vista Bootloader." Finally, "Run diagnostics" to add both OS's to the Vista boot menu. I have seen this procedure suggest many times, but have never had to use it myself. So, use at your own risk, of course.

My problem is I have sony vaio with Vista. I am trying to install XP from CD but menu INSTALL is dim, no way to clik and start instalation pls advice.
