| Yes, I rebooted each time. And it installed perfect and was what I thought running great. IE was working then I got the BSOD. The message on one of them was.. page fault in non page area. I kept trying to get back in. I went into safe mode and was able to get around. I took out video drivers and restarted with non beta drivers and still no good. I still have errors in my device manager that wont go away. My device manager is always clean. Quote:

| Well, hummm??? Reinstall probably would be faster and easier than what your are going through. I was about 100% that SP1 RC1 would not be an upper.

| What is your Wan Miniport? I had to take the drivers from the CD and place on floppies, so I could install them. XP the drivers installed from CD but not Vista... Also you might simply uninstall the Yellow marked Wan MiniPort. move back to desktop with all other windows closed.... then in blank spot click REFRESH... if it does not locate then you will have to reboot. you might check c:\windows\netsstpa.inf and see what it says... so say simply rename it to .bak and reboot and it will reset it self... another suggest uninstall all reference to your Network, and when you hve lost your ability to connect, manually use the wizard to remake your connection. (My ISP stated that if I have problems with Vista and connections) 1. open and unclick IPv6, unclick Qos, 2. open network connections and delete/uninstall all of them 3. refresh and remake all connections..

| I really don't think it's a bad idea to start from scratch by the time SP1 is available, if you can afford it. Just make sure to back up all your data and email contacts. If you install Sp1 with a sick PC, it might just get worst.
