Let the RC1 testing begin...

Hey I got your attention.

I just wanted everyone to see that they updated the Vista site and made reference to the fact that the CPP would be reopened in a few days.

Also, they have the U.S.A. estimated prices for the various Vista flavors (flavours LOL) Just kidding

Here is the updated page: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/default.aspx

I hope to get an invitation to try it soon. Can't wait. It's supposed to be available this week....any thoughts?

It should be available to everyone this week, including new beta testers if you have not previously received a product key for the Beta 2.

So if you can wait a few days, there should be a new sign up for the RC1 CPP. This comes from many sources.

Microsoft wants the RC1 in the hands of five million PC users.

I do have a produc key for beta 2 and recieved the invitation to try pre-rc1, so I should get the RC1 as well. Will anyone knows if those of us that participated in the testing program would get a price break when the final version roolls around? That'll be nice Maybe it'll make a difference if we all send that suggestion to micorsoft; it's well a try. Get at least a voucher or rebate.

Question: The following message is on MS site: ...."If you registered for this program in June, please look for a recent e-mail message from Microsoft (sent in early September) with information regarding RC1." I did registered and received beta 2 and pre-rc1 plus SN; is there supposed to be another email to download RC1?
