If you have a bootable Floppy, change the Bios to allow floppy drive 1st Boot, DVD or CD 2nd Boot, and HD 3rd Boot. all older version of Windows had you make a Bootable Floppy, actually Windows ME had the best bootable Floppy going...

There is no need to get anrgy.

We are trying to help, but it is difficult.

Look at it from our point of view. You have 2 identical PCs, one installed fine and the other didn't. The one that didn't has an error which you can give us no information about.

So you have basically asked us to fix a problem that could be anything.

I will have a look around and see if I can find something.

The only time I have seen this sort of error in installation was with XP. The issue was RAM (even though the tests came back fine). If he has more than 1 DIMM, remove one of them and see if it works, then try the other, then try one of yours.

If that doesn't work have you tried installing with your graphics card / RAM / CPU in his PC? If it installs, then you could swap them back.

But they are same parts exactly, same model number, and same date of purchase. Ill see if that will do somting. Ok 1 min i have a plan with the "TECHINICIAN OF HORRORS OF TECHNICIAN" (my friend) he will take his HDD out, put my HDD in his computer, install vista on it on his computer, then hell give me my HDD back along with disc and case, then i install my HDD back into computer and upgrade my drivers for eeverything, is that good? if he cant do that, ill try to remove 1 DIMM at a time to try to isntall, but is removing RAM hard, i never did it before, i need some bacup info please.

PS: Merna is a cute girl, in my school, who people think she looks nerdy, but i think she looks cute, because She is smart, and i am also smart, lol. BUT she has a boyfriend, i was going to ask her out. Oh well.
