| U r so right...couldn't had say better myself. Especially if u have many programs, doing an upgrade would make a lot of sense. But like u mentioned, people needs to remember that this is a beta. I have two HD on my PC and one is dedicated to ply with Vista...no important data there. |

| Most programs don't require installation. So re-installing stuff isn't an issue. The only programs that do are 'microsoft' products and any programs that are built into the shell. And alot of people like clean installs as it removes the junk they have accumulated without knowing (For instance check your XP windows folder, on clean install it is about 800mb). You may say it is more complicated to do a clean install, but from the installations perspective its the easiest thing in the world! Sorry to blab, but know one was sticking up for clean installs! crabby |

| I like clean installations...that's how I do my installations. I did wanted to try an upgrade, two in fact, one from XP and one from 5536 to 5600. They both took a long while and the upgrade from XP did not go to well, had few problems. |
