| I've heard the first week of September as well (and Sept. 7 to be precise), but I think the source for this Friday is credible. I could always be wrong though. We'll know soon.

 hey this to all (crabby) friday my wifes brother in law is gonna be here and he has windows vista build 5505 and he gonna let me copy it woo hoo(he works at microsoft as a system analasist for their programs)ill try and get it on a torrent asap cool........as far as heys herd it is being released friday (rc1) its eather gonna be 4968 or 5505 no clue witch thow....

| Finally received the DVDs from this offer. After having RC1 (and RC2) installed for over a month, the DVDs finally arrived. I had started to think that this was a bogus deal and I was hoping that some of you folks didn't get ripped off like I thought that I had. These DVDs came in a cardboard jacket instead of plastic case and they have some extras. I didn't open it yet but the paper says it has step by step guides and vouchers for discounts on Windows Vista training.. Funny though how long it took to get something that I paid for. My Windows Feedback Panel (WFP) DVDs (RC1 too) took nearly as long. On my main PC, I can only run RC1 because I am doing the WFP beta test and you are not allowed to update the build. The WFP beta is only produced in x86 and is fully supported by MS Support, which is pretty nice.. |
