Just wondering if anyone out there has been successful in an upgrade. I have a dual-boot configuration setup now and it works; but I'd like to do an upgrade. Any news?

No real problems upgrading for me. Went fairly smoothly.

First upgrade I did went fine.

Remember to run the upgrade advisor first though to see if you may run into any potentially harmful problems during the process though.

Also as Znod suggested in his (rather long) post Make sure you make a backup anything you don't want to lose (in some case an image of your entire drive may be advisable).

I don't know if it is possible to upgrade from XP Pro to 5472. Upgrading from 5384 to 5472 did not work in the sense that all my prior programs ended up the the Windows-Old folder even though some apparenly are not inconsistent with 5472.
