Hi, I think this might have been answered in a pervious thread but I'm wondering if I could get something cleared up. I have the x86 version of Windows Home premium and have ordered the x64 version. Is it possible to install the x86 version and use it in the meantime while waiting for the x64 version? Or is it a one shot deal where I can only install one of them? Is it possible to upgrade from the x86 version to the newer one a week or two down the road using my original license? Also if I can upgrade the x86 version, anyone know of any difficulties often experienced? |

| You sure can install the 32-bit version while waiting for the 64-bit. Now, when you get your 64-bit version you can only do a clean isntallation, as you cannot upgrade the 32-bit version already installed to the 64-bit one. |

| Yes, you can install the x86 (32bit) version and use it, then if you want to install the x64 version, YES, since both use the SAME KEY, but X64 has to be CLEAN INSTALL, therfore you can DUAL BOOT, hence only using 1 version at a time - which is Legal... but your in violation if you have online your laptop with x86 and desktop with x64 -IF BOTH ARE USING THE SAME KEY.
