Thumbs up Vista SP1 is rated

im currently testing Vista SP1 and i think its performance is amazing. If you see my topics on my system about the freezing issues with Vista and lockups. Its now all fixed. Vista SP1 takes care of it. Theres no more problems apart from few program capability issues also this file goes to 100% and 3 processes run of the same file name. It dont lag my system even though its stating the files are at 100% below is the file name.

mscorsvw.exe - .Net Runtime Optimization Service

I'm glad you got those excellent results. I noticed that my laptop response better, though I still trying to figure out a little hitch with IE7. Every now and then the address bar icons change to something else not related to the website I'm in. For example the Vistababble icon may appear like a CNN website icon, and so forth. It doesn’t happen often though, which makes it harder to troubleshoot the issue.

Hi since downloading the sp1 my bluescreen problem seems to be resolved It always happened immediately after booting for the first time each day left to reboot itself once or twice it was fine for the rest of the day
that has stopped completely it boots much faster
when I run the assessment the compression and encryption has gone from 5.4 to 5.7
waiting to install my new adobe creative suite 3 and see how that runs when I used the 30 day trial it was very slow opening at start up and opening files
so I hope that has improved we will have to wait and see
but so far a vast improvement

Adobe will never get faster, it only gets slower. Reason is Adobe tries to re-config for it to have preference. Vista is the master and keeps changing to maintain primary.

Big conflict. So Vista will win and Adobe keeps trying, so you lose if you have Adobe.. just the way the world turns.

Thanks Felix I have copied it into a word file and will get around to it in a couple of weeks when I have finished the current building project as I don't officially get adobe creative suite 3 until Christmas I just know that I have got it and found the 30 day trial way to slow in vista hopefully they will get around to fixing the problem in the future
