The furnace blew out killed one dog and blew out the bedroom wall and left a hole 9 foot wide in the floor of the room, some one was watching over them for sure, I got out of my truck and it just brought tears to my eye's and you just have to count your blessing this Christmas. God Bless every one and Happy Holidays and be Safe.
Gbless, and happy holdays to you too. I am very glad about your friends. But, I can't figure out why getting out of your truck brought on tears. You must really love driving it.

Fire Marshall doing his thing there today and it has been all over the local news they finally got the dog out of the ceiling he got the total blast lying right over the furnace. I had a hard time sleeping last night wondering if our furnace is alright which I do a service every year and check the low water cut-out and the other safety controls but anything can go wrong s--t happens. Thanks for the Blessing

I was a registered heating engineer for most of my working life providing your
system is set up correctly this should not happen if you are not sure get a qualified engineer to check the system over and point out any potential problem
what happened to your neighbour is very rare in this country I cant speak for yours as I have no working knowledge of your systems but its better to be safe than sorry

Angry Will not complete install

OK, wanted to do a clean install of Vista.. wow, that was a big mistake.
I have several DVD's backups of Vista... None will complete the install.
everything goes 100% till the 1st reboot on completing installation.
some times I get 1 . or 2.. then everythings spots... HD stops working, You can let it set for upto 8 or 10 hours... Nothing happens. DEAD
and restarting will not repair the installation. you have to FORMAT HDD and restart... this has happened 5 or 6 times... has anybody had this problem and if so what can you do to correct..
1. Have tested on 2 different DVD Readers.
2. Have tested on 3 copies of Retail DVD
3. Have tested on 1 orig copy of Retail DVD
4. Have tested on 1 orig copy of Upgrade DVD

Needless to say I'm working XP.

felix8406 will become famous soon enough

I did have that issue on a PC I just put together. It took four times before I finally was able to correct the issue. I tried Vista two times and that didn't work, then I tried XP and that went worst. Then I lavel the PC using a carpenters level accross and on the sides, and clean the DVD with soap and water. It worked, but I'm not sure if it was due to the leveling or because I cleaned the DVD.

The Furnace was a 40 year old 3 sizes bigger than a Van Wert 400 I believe and it was in 4 pieces which have been picked out of the rubble and are being tested to see what the actual cause of this problem. I said the same thing had to believe it happened.

Red face

I have one of them also... DOH - I'm getting old (er). Thanks
I have also burnt a new backup disk...
currently enjoying getting XPSP3 to work the way I think it should.
But believe me XP is not faster than Vista... I care less who says different.
Every test I have ran... Vista is faster.. sometimes not much but it is faster.

One that is is PIZZING me off, is SP1 is making some things FAIL to work that worked in Vista RTM... and the upgrades
well they killed my Promise Ultra 100 IDE add-on... (if I disable upgrades) it will work.. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. Damn MS.

This install are you trying to install on a SATA drive becuare I read somewhere else that some one was having the same problem and they had to turn of the I think it was ACHI feature for the HD's in the bios and then the install went along right to the final boot no problem I will have to research it a little more for this system. Pic of house wall blown out attached
