Windows Anytime Upgrade

I was wonder if i had to reinstall my Vista Ultimate that was a WAU how would I do it so I called MS and I was told that if I do not have my digital license that I got from Window market place i would not be able to do the reinstall i have a key for the vista Ultimate that I upgraded to but she was not sure that would work any body have any ideas on this problem or if it is a problem. Or do i just install business and then do an upgrade by putting in the ultimate key or do i just reinstall by just putting in the ultimate key from the start. Now when you do a Windows anytime upgrade she says you get a kit with a disc and the key but back in 2007 when i did mine you get a digital lic. Well maybe i will be changing my Windows feedback gift back to Vista Ultimate instead of office.

That WAU has been a problem from the start. The best idea might be to get out from under the thumb of the WAU. I would opt for getting a full install Ultimate disk for your feedback gift.

On the other hand, I guess that I don't understand your digital liscense-key problem well enough to help with how you do things if you don't want to "spend" your feedback gift on Ultimate. Maybe it is just too late tonight for me to understand. Been flying all day. Pooped.

I know how you feel i am that way most days because of my back problem and Hep C it gives me good and maybe a little better days 1 or 2 times a week but the key is not a key as I thought it is a file and a digital lic and i found the file which I had all a alone but it wasn't in my digital locker so the Windows market place people were I got the lic from said i was screwed but i have the lic and I talked to MS CSR and he said that is it would have to install business again and then do the WAU all over to reinstall Vista Ultimate on that system but i would try to just put the key in which i got from a third part program and see if that works in the event of having to do a clean install thanks for the feedback lots of new member her and on the other vista forums the real fancy one and the blue ones is how i keep then separated from one another i see your name on the one named the Vista forums if that your handle. I will be looking to test Windows 7 in the not to distant future the way it looks. i used this new benchmark tool named CrystalMark 2004R3 does a good job for what it is . Were you up in the air flying or just running around doing things. If you were flying that cool.
