Question Worth Installing Beta?


Do you think it is worth installing the beta? Is it decently stable where I could use it dual-boot with XP?

If you are going to dual-boot, then I don't see any reason not to try it. I would caution people who are planning on completely replacing XP on an important machine with the beta, as they may be unable to to do something that is important to them (if a piece of software/hardware is incompatible). But dual-booting pretty much eliminates that problem, afaik. Still, doesn't hurt to BACKUP first. This is a

Yeah the only thing is know now is does Vista come with an integrated dual-boot program or will I have to find a 3rd party program to use?

here an option

i used a partioning software to add a second partion to install vista on as a clean install as a dule boot......or iff u have a second hd then by all means use it.....i did this on my tower ,my laptop has just vista

But will you be able to choose whether to boot XP or Vista before you get to the XP welcome screen?

is not for a machine or drive one must depend on. Among other things some features may not work. For example, I have no BT software that will work, and I can't establish a USB partnership with my Pharos 525. Both worked well enough under 5384 after some fiddling.

Utorrent

Installed Utorrent: and it runs fine one Vista 5600 rc1,only problem so far is the printer driver for ALLinOne Lexmark X1270,Logitech webcam 4000 did not take driver also.Intalled Flight Simulator X, went well with card NVidia GEForce6200.Will keep you updated as i try new proggies.
